Hyundai Key Fob | Replace Battery and Remote Start

How To Open The Fob
To start, remove the metal key by pressing and holding the metal tab or button. Then, insert the key into the small opening on the back cover and turn it in either direction to pop the case open.
For older Hyundai models, there's a notch along the side of the fob. Use a flat-blade screwdriver or a coin to gently pry it open at that spot.

What BatteriesÂ
Hyundai key fobs typically use CR2032 3V lithium coin batteries. This type of battery is widely available and can be found in most stores that sell batteries or online. Always check your vehicle's manual or the old battery for the exact type before purchasing a replacement to ensure compatibility.
Remote Start
To use the remote start feature on your Hyundai key fob, follow these steps:
Lock the Doors: Press the lock button on your key fob to ensure all the doors are locked.
Activate Remote Start: Press and hold the remote start button (usually a circular arrow) for about 3-5 seconds. The engine should start, and your vehicle's lights will flash to confirm.
Enter the Vehicle: Once you're ready to drive, unlock the vehicle and enter.
Start Driving: Press the brake pedal and push the start button (if equipped with push-to-start) or insert the key as usual.
Remote start functionality may vary depending on your Hyundai model and year, so check your owner's manual for specific instructions.
